A quick peek inside Noah House in Cape Town…by a member of the Mr & Mrs Smith team…

Once a farmhouse but now close to one of Cape Town’s coolest corners,
NOAH House is ready to give refuge to anyone in search of high ceilings, panelled walls, a dazzling collection of tiling and Dutch treats baked daily. The dust from the renovations has settled and this Victorian beauty has kept her charms (but now with added velvety flat whites).

You’ll be able to spy both Table Mountain and Lion’s Head (with a palm tree helping the view along) from the balcony of one of the suites. Down on the patio (where there’s more marvellous mosaic-work), café tables are set up for breakfasts and morning coffees, as you plot your Cape Town schedule. Helpfully, most of it will be within walking distance of your designer dwelling, thanks to its setting on Tamboerskloof Road, with a lounge, patio and café worth hurrying home for. The owners moved to Cape Town from the Netherlands two years ago to make their new nest – and luckily for us they want to share it.’
